Byrd is founder of MadeInTheDMV, a think tank for artists, brands, creatives & individuals in the DMV who possess and showcase exceptional talent . MadeInTheDMV's mission is to create opportunities for growth & revenue, to showcase exceptional talent, serve as a support system & voice for the DMV in the communities and worldwide. On Dec 8 2014, MadeInTheDMV kicked off its first campaign and entertainment conference in Washington, DC featuring MTV’s Rob Markman, Revolt TV’s Tuma Basa, WPGC 95.5’s DJ Heat, Tray Chaney (HBO’s The Wire), producer Tone P (Wale, J.Cole, Meek Mill), producer Roger Beat (Shy Glizzy, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka), Broccoli City, The Grammys DC Chapter, Cool Kids Forever, The Source Magazine, and more. Since starting in 2014, MadeInTheDMV has been vital in helping cultivate campaigns throughout the DMV for Broccoli City, Shoe City, New Balance, Hennessy, Reebok , Google , DCDPR , DSLBD and more to provide opportunities for creatives & entrepreneur's in the DMV area including the Y.E.S (Youth Entertainment Summit) and the Made Conference (a conference for music arts and tech). www.madeinthedmv.com.
