Folasade’ Ogunmokun
Folasade’ Ogunmokun coined the nickname “Bay Oprah” since she could talk, but is now making a name for herself through her work. She graduated from the illustrious Howard University for television production and later gained her Master's in entertainment business from Full Sail University. Through her years in the entertainment industry she has worked with small business, government departments, major social influencers and top 10 news stations. She was recognized as one of Richmond, VA as a top 30 under 30 for her experience and work with Unskrypted TV.
Unskrypted TV is her production company that she will be working to launching into a network during her tenure with 202Creates. This network focuses on cooperative economics, positive depictions and accurate information in the black community. The main show she works on now is Ambitious Girl, which follows leap of faith women on their journey to success. She hopes to connect stories of triumphs and defeats with younger girls and women who are interested in various fields, but facing fear in the face. She is looking forward to sharing her stories and experiences while building a network with creatives in DC.
