KATE WAGNER

Kate O. Wagner is a filmmaker and producer from Washington, D.C. She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in Media Studies, concentrating on Documentary Production, from the Catholic University of America in 2012, and has been working as a videographer, video editor and producer since she was a student. Kate has worked on numerous short and feature length documentary projects for local and national companies, studios and organizations. She produced the feature documentary, Sameblood (directed by Oday Sadoon, 2018), and co-founded Sameblood Productions, where she produces and directs. Kate also teaches youth film workshops and plans to conduct these workshops particularly with resettled refugee youth in the DMV region, and with displaced youth internationally.
