Washington, DC native Marcus K. Dowling is a locally, nationally and internationally respected journalist and content creator with a finger on the pulse of the past, present and future.

A copious and curious consumer of all things culture, Dowling is also a progressive minded entrepreneur having assisted in the launch of MishiKatsu - an EDM-specific management/marketing/branding company, WLVS Radio - a popular DC-based online urban radio station, and indie/underground EDM PR firm Vamos Promo in the past three years.

As a music and arts journalist, he has written for Complex Magazine, VICE, Remezcla, HipHopDX and numerous other portals. Furthermore, he writes for Twitter-owned long-form site Medium.com. Oftentimes called upon for his expert knowledge of music industry, he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and UK's Mixmag Magazine, and hosted events for the Red Bull Music Academy and Mastercard.
